These plates are great for lifting with a barbell, in your hands or on a plate loaded pulley! Compared to their bumper plate alternatives, they are much cheaper and just as versatile, if not more! We would however recommend bumper plates if they are to be dropped, as tri-grip plates aren't designed to be continually dropped.
