Vinyl Kettlebell

Ordered Tuesday, delivered Thursday. Ideal for swings etc, but due to the thickness of the handle near the bell it may not be suitable for all exercises as it is too big to grip.

I’ve ordered this kettlebell and a couple of others, I’ve got a lot of kit from Northern. At the time of ordering I ordered a Neoprene kettle bell. I wanted to swap this (and the 10kg that I purchased) but after contacting Northern over 3 times, I’ve just been ignored. Usually the customer service is fantastic, which is why I’ve always ordered but since this order and no response. I won’t be using them again.

Really gutted I didnt read reviews. Size is ridiculous (16kg) and makes it almost unusable for some movements

Read the reviews before purchase, especially for the heavier kettlebells.

Northern Vinyl Kettlebell - 20kg

At 20kg the grip and size of the weight is far too bulky to be useful. Will look for metal kettlebells in future… this will just be an expensive door stop

Very big and bulky. Wish I'd have read reviews before purchasing. No size measurements on website. Would have been useful

Good shaped handle

I’m used to the compact cast iron kettle bells as used at the gym. I hadn’t considered the size of the vinyl/plastic ones. Very cumbersome for the heavier weights 16kg plus.

This kettlebell is ridiculously big. It is probably about four times the size I expected it to be, and the handle grip area is so thick I can't actually get my hands all the way around it.

My own fault for cheaping out really, should have bought cast iron from the off but thought I would give them a try, as other reviews have commented, they are big for their weight, you might be ok with smaller weights but bigger weights are going to get restrictive very quickly, also the handles are hugely slippy (borderline dangerously so) unless you are wearing gloves and last point is that the quality is not great, the "vinyl" (hard plastic in reality) on mine can be pressed in with my thumb in places it's that thin, Can't see them being long lasting

The kettlebell itself is good and good value so far. The DHL delivery was really dreadful. They came to the wrong address 4 times and on the fifth attempt went to a completely different property. Luckily the occupants of that address brought it around. The use of DHL as a courier will put me off from ever ordering again from Northern, regardless of how good their products are.

This item has not yet been delivered despite being ordered weeks ago.

Handle thickness is too large to do many exercises with

Newbie to kettlebells and thought all products would be similar. Found this one to be very chunky and I find it difficult to grip the thick handle.

Yes it's 20kg. But why make the handle too big ... It difficult to hold this equipment whiles using it.

They are massive!

The 2 kettlebells are now hanging from one of our mooring ropes keeping the boat in at high tide

They're too big! Granted they were the cheapest I could find! But had I known I wouldn't of got two the same weight cause nearly impossible to do DBL KB swings! I am persevering cause I need to justify the cost but don't buy these ones! Not sure about their cast iron ones but vinyl not the way to go!
