These plates are great for lifting with a barbell, in your hands or on a plate loaded pulley! Compared to their bumper plate alternatives, they are much cheaper and just as versatile, if not more! We would however recommend bumper plates if they are to be dropped, as tri-grip plates aren't designed to be continually dropped.

Plates good, but wasn’t happy about how greasy they were on arrival - strong smell of petroleum. Left oil marks on the floor. Would have been helpful to note this on the item details online. They needed a really good wash with fairy liquid before use.
I’m really happy with the buying experience, the price was the lowest I could find and it was with me less than 24 hours of ordering.
Weights are robust and as described, delivered quickly by DHL. Had an issue with the second item I ordered not being delivered and seemingly lost by Evri, nothing new there with Evri.
Evri will do reputational damage to any company due to there unreliable service.
To be fair to Northern their customer services were brilliant and sorted another deliver through DHL which again arrived promptly. Lesson there id say!!

I have purchased a load of the Tri grip plates to use with Olympic bar and barbells. Came in a few separate deliveries from DHL strangely but the product itself was very high quality. Well packaged and design was actually better than what I was expecting with the Northern branding on each plate.
The equipment is well built and feels good quality. Note that the bundle does not include the collars. Why wouldn’t it? Seems daft not to include a relatively cheap element, and one that you need in order to use the equipment. To make it worse, you didn’t have any to sell me. I suggest this is added to the bundle in future.

These plates look good. The rubber coating and handles make them easy to hold when loading and unloading bars.
The staff at Northern went out of the way to ensure a fast resolution when the shipping company failed to deliver (twice!) over the Christmas/New Year period.
The companies chosen courier failed to deliver a parcel which never got past the local depot -lost? The courier failed to provide updates and eventually christmas passed and the parcel is still MIA!
However, the customer service team at Northern responded as soon as the holiday break was over. They offered a solution, and acted quickly, despite the issue not being directly linked to their own service.
