Honestly I wasn’t sure if a flat pack box would be up to much, purchased as was looking for a box for weighted step ups and I’m really impressed. It’s a good solid piece of equipment, slight textured rubber effect so non slip on floors, easy to put together and delivery was fast too!

I bought the extra small box for knee rehab. Delivered promptly. Easy to put together. Good quality. It would encourage me to by other Northern products.
Very impressed with solidity and styling. Takes about 20 mins to assemble. Much easier to put the many screws in using a decent 4mm Allen key with a handle. Not heavy but sturdy. Surface is non-slip without being sticky. Very good vfm.
The Plyo Jump Box appears to be good quality and well constructed. The allen key supplied snapped inserting the second screw, so used my own. The instructions are pretty poor, but fortunately seemed straightforward to assemble. I did however have one question and sent Northern a message through the contact form on their website. They never responded and there was no phone number to call. So docked 2 stars.
No. You can't make a box like this yourself for anything like the money. It is solid, classy and internally supported with external texture for grip. The edges are rounded but (as with any wooden box) use shin pads of some sort or go for a soft box, which may be less stable. I sawed off the bend of the hex key and put it in my power driver for fast fixing and the box was put together in ten minutes. If you want a wooden jump box then look no further. This is the one.
Very quick delivery time and item well packaged. The box itself was easy to build and is extremely strong and sturdy, It's an ideal size for me to do my leg exercises, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I would highly recommend this product.
Well I suppose a box is a box and they all do the same thing, however I ordered a black box to keep in keeping with the rest of the equipment I have. However what I got was a smooth light wood coloured box so a little disappointed.
The box is however up to the normal excellent quality that I have come to expect from Northern.
